After working for around 7 years in the Indian Retail Industry, Joining Tesco HSC was an important decision for me. Though I always had an interest in technology, but it was not exactly my background. I choose to work with Tesco for the following reasons:
 Reputation of Tesco as a forward thinking retailer and an employer.
The interaction with the teams and the job profile being offered for my role.
And no, I was not disappointed. Tesco did provide the stability and benefits I was looking for, as well as opportunities to utilize my strengths and talents. Coming from an industry which is yet to catch up with the International best practices, the Tesco culture and work-life balance was something which thrilled me a lot in the beginning. What I considered a luxury earlier had now become a way of life with me.
Then, the immense exposure that I am getting continuously, whether it is training in the UK, or working on projects in Prague, has been simply wonderful. I am working with the best retail teams in the world. It has greatly contributed to my understanding of the International best practices in retail and also the cross cultural awareness. I have friends across the globe now. I am sure that I am headed to a great future ahead.

It was a 5 member process that we migrated & introduced the concept of transitions in the UK environment.
