Tesco Hindustan Service Centre

Tesco Hindustan Service Centre (HSC) is the global services arm for Tesco. We are at the heart of the Tesco group‚ providing IT‚ business and finance services to Tesco operations across Europe‚ Asia and America. Tesco HSC went live in May 2004‚ and currently has over 3000 employees. Tesco HSC is Tesco owned and run‚ and shares the company values and customer focus.

Tesco is the first major international retailer to have a fully-owned support centre in India. We are dedicated to making the Tesco experience better for 30 million customers worldwide‚ simpler for 440‚000 employees‚ while achieving cost efficiencies for Tesco.

We design‚ develop‚ test‚ and manage some of Tesco's mission critical IT applications. Teams at Tesco HSC are also instrumental in paying our suppliers‚ maintaining the books of accounts and providing management reports to the Tesco senior management.

We provide support from India to multiple geographies including the UK‚ US‚ Ireland‚ Hungary‚ Poland‚ the Czech Republic‚ Slovakia‚ Turkey‚ Thailand‚ South Korea‚ Malaysia‚ China and Japan.

Milestones of Tesco HSC

October 2008	Tesco HSC crosses the 3000^th employee milestone
May 2008	Tesco HSC opens a crèche within its premises
June 2007	Tesco HSC launches Retail Test Lab. The lab is the first of its kind in India and will test and certify all the retail software and solutions developed at HSC.
February 2007	Tesco HSC overall team strength is 2000.
September 2006	Retail Certification Program launched in partnership with IIMB and IRMC.
May 2005	Team is 500 employees strong.
May 2004	Tesco HSC goes live
