| There's a buzz in the air the moment you step on campus. From work-related discussions to fun events that could be as energetic or vibrant as the work, Tesco HSC has it all happening on the set. The following are snippets of the programs that take place at our campus. |

| Training and Development |
| TWIST |
| We have a 'store experience' programme called TWIST (Tesco Week In Store Together). It involves spending five days in a store learning by doing, once a year, every year. TWIST reinforces our values and aims to improve knowledge sharing and help the office, stores and distribution work better for our customers. It covers all aspects of store operations, from the back door to the shop floor working as a Customer Assistant, including; receiving deliveries, working in the warehouse, filling, working on checkouts and the Customer Service Desk and this year completing a nightshift. |
| Retail certification |
| Tesco HSC launched the 'Tesco Retail Certification program'. This program is aimed at developing the knowledge of contemporary retail management issues among the employees of Tesco HSC. It is run with the partnership of IIMB and IRMC. Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B) providing the academic input and Integrated Retail Management Consulting (IRMC) conducting workshops to reinforce the learning. |

| Pre-Process training |
| Where employees can take up their pre - process related training such soft skills, communications skills, business English, culture training, customer service training etc. |

| Employees are trained on various technical aspects. |

| The leadership team at HSC meets teams across all functions on a weekly basis to interact with the teams and address any concerns or issues with the teams. |

| Viewpoint/ Voice of Business Surveys |
| Viewpoint/Voice of Business is an employee survey rolled every 6 months to capture the employees’ views on HSC. The employees’ feedback act as an important tool for giving the management a sense what people feel about working at HSC and helps put developmental programs in place. It also helps in further improving our services and effectiveness. |

| Listening Lunch |
| Listening lunch is organized for employees whenever we have Senior Directors visiting HSC from the UK or other countries. This gives our employees a chance to talk business in an informal setting. Most of the time the employees coming for the lunch are a mix of staff across functions and this allows the management to reach out to as many people as possible. |

Connect over Coffee

Connect over Coffee is another informal program for the employees. The program is done with Sudheesh Venkatesh and he gives his opinion on pre-determined topic. The discussion is open to the employees where they are allowed to freely express their opinions on the topic. The topics range from Stress management to how we can become more socially conscious. |

| Is an employee entertainment event which happens every Friday. The employees had encouraged to let their hair down and have fun through various activities like games, cricket matches, quiz competitions etc. |

| Knowledge sharing |
| Town meeting |
| The town meeting happens once a quarter at HSC. The purpose of this meeting is for the HSCians to get a broader view of what's happening across HSC and the Tesco Business from Meena Ganesh. The session also features: celebration of key events, important announcements, launching of new programs and Q&A with the top management etc. |

Talk Shop is a forum that discusses the Retail industry. It can either be specific to Tesco HSC, or a general idea of the industry itself. |
